About
Coordinating Patients and Managing Production
Klickitat Medical Cannabis Resource Center was established by a group of qualifying patients based on their own healthcare requirements, and the discovery that many qualifying patients in their own community were suffering from an inability to afford the full amount, or correct varietal, of medical cannabis required for their treatments from recreational stores. Fewer still were able to ensure an actual medical grade cannabis production in a home garden due to lack of resources and education.
The KMCRC garden cooperative is seeking to maintain a nursery of varietals of cannabis that are high in beneficial medicinal properties, and a breeding program to bring the medicinal properties of these varietals forward. Cooperative members co-fund the garden utilizing pooled resources in a production strategy that yields all the patients the full amount of medical cannabis necessary for each of their treatments.
KMCRC works with other qualifying patients to develop and manage a cannabis production strategy which ensures that the medical quality is verifiable, and that all the patients treatment requirements are met.
